Meet Your Match

Friday 19 February 2021

AGE CATEGORY: 28-38

The world no longer looks or feels the same. Everywhere is and has been closed making it physically impossible to meet people.

Meet Your Match is a virtual place where you can meet people to either spark new friendships or possibly make romantic connections.

How to get involved

Register your interest by completing the form. It's £5 to take part once selected.

If you are selected, you will receive an email with an allocated time and details of how to join virtually from any device with an internet connection and camera. We recommend using a laptop (dates) and a phone (icebreakers) for the best overall experience.

Schedule of events
  • Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! You will be given a number on arrival

  • Icebreakers (you will need both a phone and laptop for the best experience)

  • Explain the rules and how it all works

  • Let the link ups/matching begin – you’re sent off into your virtual one on one breakout rooms (virtual table)

You will get 4 minutes to get to know each other with a countdown letting you know when you have 60 seconds left. Tick Tock!

The ladies will stay in the same breakout room (virtual table) with the men moving to the next table after each session. Just like real life 😊

After each round, you will come back to the main lobby to have a breather, grab another drink and reset.

To spice it up, we will give you a question to ask each other for the next round.

Then you will be sent onto the next virtual table and repeat the process until you have spoken to everyone. You will meet between 8 to 12 people.

After each round

At the end of each round you will be expected to make a note of

  • people you could have a romantic connexion with

  • people you could have a friendship connexion with

  • people you have no connexion with.

You will be emailed or sent a text the following day with details of your matches.

You can then make contact and explore your new connexion.
